Hotel Ambacang is an international hotel located in Padang city, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Minangkabau International Airport.

In the Dutch colonial era, the Hotel Ambacang was used by the Central Trading Company and the building of the Handelsvereeniging Harmsen Verwey & Dunlop N.V. When it became a luxury hotel, it retained the architectural style and atmosphere of the Dutch colonial period luxury hotel in the city of Padang. Around the hotel there are shopping centers such as Matahari Department Store and Plaza Andalas.

Hotel Ambacang has facilities such as billiards, reflexology and a restaurant "Bundo Kanduang" that serves traditional food.

On October 1 2009, an earthquake shook the city of Padang and surrounding regions, reading 7.3 on the Richter Scale. Hotel Ambacang was one of the buildings in this town which was devastated.
